The Family Camp Weekend is a weekend Scouting activity designed for a Scout and the Scout's family.  You come to camp together, eat together, sleep together and do things you want to do together.  If you wish you can hike, fish, swim or boat then spend time in the activity areas with archery, BB guns, bouldering, slingshots, STEM activities, or a scavenger hunt.  A camp map and a schedule of events and activities will be provided
 to you at check-in.

WHEN:  Reservations will be on a first come/first serve basis.  BE SURE TO REGISTER EARLY.  Check-in will begin Friday afternoon.   

WHEREBert Adams Scout Camp, Covington, Georgia 30016 - approximately 45 miles southeast of Atlanta, GA. Facilities include an air conditioned dining hall, flushing toilets, and private showers.

WHO:  All registered Scouts and Scouters and their families.    

COST:  $26 per Cub Scout and any sibling 5 yrs old and up. (Children 5 and under are free)
            $5 per adult

Meal plan costs are below. Details including menus can be found in the registration form.
Full Weekend: $25 per person
Saturday Only: $15 per person
Friday Dinner: $5.50 per person
Saturday Breakfast: $5.25 per person
Saturday Lunch: $5.50 per person
Saturday Dinner: $6.50 per person
Sunday Breakfast: $5.25 per person

WHAT TO BRING:      Each family provides their own tent and food (or Pack Meal Plan provides food).  You should also bring the following:  Sleeping Bags or Blankets, Mess Kits, Cooking Equipment (or Pack Meal Plan provides cooking equipment), Towels, Toiletry Articles, Comfortable Closed-toe Shoes, Clothing, Swimming Attire, Flashlights or Gas Lantern, Fishing Equipment and Lots of Scouting Spirit.   

CAMP SAFETY:    LEADERS: Please discuss these rules with your participants before arrival.  
  1.  NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED ON CAMP AT ANY  TIME.  THOSE FOUND WITH ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.    
  2. No vehicles or bicycles are allowed in campsites.  
  3. Closed Toed / Closed Heeled Shoes must be worn at all times.  
  4. No flames in tents at any time.  
  5. Avoid all snakes.
  6. No firearms, ammunition or fireworks are allowed.
  7. Gas lanterns and stoves allowed for adults only.
  8. Please keep your swimsuits family appropriate.
  9. Scouts and siblings are not permitted to carry matches.
  10. Axes and hatchets are for adults only.  NO CHAINSAWS ARE ALLOWED.
  11. All children must have adult supervision at all times.
  12. No Pets.
  13. No bikes allowed.
