What Is WOLF/BEAR Attack? In a word – FUN! This is a camping and learning event designed for Wolf & Bear scouts along with one Akela (sorry younger Scouts, older scouts, or siblings may NOT attend). It is a chance to work on any required or elective adventures with your den or on your own.  

WHEN: Friday Nov 15 - Sunday Nov 17, Check-in will begin at 5:00 PM, Friday afternoon.   

WHERE: Spanish Trail Scout Reservation, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433.  Located approximately 5 miles west of DeFuniak Springs off Highway 90.  Look for the green “Spanish Trail Scout Reservation” sign.  Turn and follow Boy Scout Road until you reach the wood and stone gateway on the left side of the road that marks the entrance to the camp.  Once you have entered the Scout Reservation follow the paved road until you have passed the earth dam and traveled up the hill.  Henson Hall is the first building on the right.  

WHO:  Wolf and Bear Scouts, one adult Akela    

COST: Camp registration - $15.00 per person. 
           Meal Plan - There will be a meal plan option with the pack for $7.50 per person.


We will be offering several Adventures for your 2nd grade Wolf or 3rd grade Bear Scouts.  

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE CHECK-IN TIMES START 

CHECK-IN: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday and 7:00 AM to 8:15 AM Saturday
** Den Leader only meeting, Friday night at 8:30 pm at Dining Hall

CHECK-OUT: 12 noon on Sunday.

  • Bear: Baloo the Builder, Forensics, A Bear Goes Fishing, Duty to God, Furs, Feathers, and Ferns, BB Shooting, Archery, Sling Shot 
RULES:
  • NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
  • NO VEHICLES IN CAMPSITE
  • Shoes must be worn at all times
  • No flames in tents
  • Avoid all snakes
  • No firearms or fireworks
  • Gas lanterns and stoves are for adults
  • Boys are not allowed to carry matches
  • Axes and hatches are for adults
  • Supervise children at all times
  • No Bikes
  • No Pets
  • No Chainsaws
  • Show Scout Spirit at all times!
