What is it that makes camping so AWESOME?! Maybe the campfires, s'mores, hiking, wildlife, nature sounds, Dutch oven desserts, and more!
There are multiple opportunities to camp throughout the year, whether with the entire Pack or with your den. A few examples are listed below.
More information about each event will be sent to Scouts and their families. Also check announcements on the main page here.
The Family Camp Weekend is a weekend Scouting activity designed for a scout and his/her family. You come to camp together, eat together, sleep together, and do things you want to do together. If you wish you can hike, fish, swim or boat (weather permitting), then spend time in the activity areas with bows and arrows, BB guns, or work on leather work in handicraft. A camp map and a schedule of events and activities will be provided to you at check-in.
This is a camping and learning event designed for Wolf & Bear scouts along with one Akela (sorry younger Scouts, older scouts, or siblings may NOT attend). It is a chance to work on any required or elective adventures with your den or on your own.
This is a camping and learning event for 1st and 2nd year Webelos, one (or more) of their parents (sorry younger Scouts or siblings may NOT attend), and for Scouts BSA and Scout Leaders. It is a chance to camp with a Scout Troop, learn Scout skills, and play a few games. Scouts BSA attends the event to teach skills, tell Webelos about Scouting, and run the scheduled events. This is a GREAT opportunity for Webelos and their parents to see Scout BSA Troops in action and meet Troop leaders.
Similar to the Fall Fam Camp where the whole family is invited to attend and participate. This event is typically hosted at the local Spanish Trails Scout Reservation (STSR) but may be coordinated at other venues.
Experience the premier Lion & Tiger Cub Adventure for Lions, Tigers and their Akela at Camp Euchee on the Spanish Trail Scout Reservation, Defuniak Springs, Florida. This is a weekend designed specifically for Lion & Tiger Cubs and one adult (parent/guardian). You'll camp and participate in activities with your Tiger den.
Lions will only participate during the day on Saturday and will not camp overnight.
This event offers your brand new Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts an opportunity to participate in activities designed especially for them in a Scouting environment. They will be doing activities meant to give a taste of what being a Scout BSA is like. The goal is to inspire Webelos to stay in Cub Scouts, complete their Arrow of Light, and move into a Scout BSA troop. Adults will get information on the program as they go through the events too.
